Dual Fuel Engineer - Dundee

OTE: £45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum
Position: Dual Fuel Engineer

Basic Salary: £38,000 - £41,800 (within M25)

Loyalty & Attendance Bonus: £800 - paid in November

    In this role, you will be responsible for meeting predefined targets, encompassing but not limited to metrics such as first-time fix rates, productivity, customer satisfaction, and job cost. Your duties will encompass attending to all job assignments, regardless of type or priority, while staying updated on any changes in Gas Safe regulations and upholding the highest standards of work quality.

    Sisko Group is partnered with one of the best known service companies in the country and is currently seeking experienced Air Source Heat Pump Installers to join their expanding team. If you are an experienced Plumber with excellent pipework fitting skills and competent in domestic heating design and installation including unvented hot water, then this could be the ideal role for you!


    You will be working as part of our client’s workforce, primarily responsible for the safe installation of Air Source Heat Pumps In domestic properties.


    As an Air Source Heat Pump Installer, you will:


    ·         Be responsible for installation of Air Source Heat Pumps and unvented hot water systems along with wet central heating systems in domestic properties

    ·         Removal of existing heating systems, including tanks, pipework, etc.

    ·         Installation of new radiators and valves with pipework and boxing into a high standard 

    ·         Power flushing & commissioning of new systems alongside the lead installer

    ·         Maintain current knowledge of all applicable procedures and safety measures 

    ·         Provide technical information to customers wanting to know more about low carbon technology (training will be provided)

    ·         Overcome technical challenges and be comfortable working as part of a team 

     

    The Air Source Heat Pump Installer will:

     

    ·         Be an experienced plumber with excellent pipework fitting skills

    ·         Able to apply the highest technical standards and have an eye for detail and know how to make pipework aesthetically pleasing

    ·         Willingness to learn and progress with Low Carbon technology

    ·         An understanding of underfloor heating systems and some manufacturers training on specific heat pumps is desirable

    As a Lead Installer you will be the technical and supervisory lead for an Air Source Heat Pump crew.  You will ensure the highest quality installation is delivered, ensuring regulatory and technical standards are met. 

    You will be responsible for commissioning, completing required documentation and customer handover. There will be an expectation to lead 2 simultaneous installs.

    As Lead Air Source Heat Pump Installer, you will:

    • Be the technical lead for the installation of monobloc and split air source heat pumps in domestic properties
    • Keep projects on time and be accountable for delivery of KPI’s including project budgets
    • Be commercially aware keeping your crew’s wastage to a minimum
    • Provide technical information to customers wanting to know more about low carbon technology (training will be provided)
    • Overcome technical challenges and be comfortable working with minimal support
    • Adhere to high HSE standards and be accountable for you own, customer and colleague safety
    • Limit in day issues by planning ahead and owning the customer journey from the point of install booked
    • Lead, inspire and be the role model for your team of air source heat pump installers

    • Hold NVQ level 2 in plumbing or similar
