In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the servicing, repairs, and installations of various industrial doors. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation: Install roller shutters, sectional doors, and manual shutters according to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
Plan and execute installation projects, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and operational.
Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide accurate job estimates.
Servicing: Perform routine maintenance and servicing of roller shutters, sectional doors, and manual shutters to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
Conduct regular service visits in accordance with company policies and customer contracts.
Maintain detailed records of service visits, including any repairs or adjustments made.
Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in roller shutters, sectional doors, and manual shutters, including mechanical and electrical issues.
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair requests, minimising downtime for customers.
Provide temporary solutions or repairs where necessary to maintain security until full repairs can be completed.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on maintenance and repairs.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of installed systems.
Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ensure all installations and repairs comply with industry standards.
Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety measures during installations and repairs.
Stay updated on the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Technical Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of roller shutters, sectional doors, and manual shutters, including emerging technologies and advancements.
Attend training sessions and industry seminars to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Skills, Competencies & Qualifications:
Proven experience in the installation, servicing, and repair of roller shutters, sectional doors, and manual shutters.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with various manufacturers and models of roller shutters, sectional doors, and manual shutters.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Relevant certifications or training in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred but not essential).
Salary and Benefits:
Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 basic - Depending on level of experience.

Job Description
Sisko Group is currently looking to recruit qualified plumbers for domestic and commercial water meter installations across London following a large contract win offering a salary £41,600 - £50,000.
The Position
You will attend a 2-week induction & training period prior to working live on the contract
Once live you will be required to install a range of water meters (both internal and external) being allocated a minimum 8 appointments per day
You will be expected to carry out plumbing surveys alongside carrying out installations.
Have the ability to request additional jobs
Working hours 8:00AM-5PM Monday to Friday
Must work every 3rd Saturday
Callout & Standby is available
Provide excellent customer service
Could this role be for you?
Minimum 1 years’ experience as a qualified plumber
City & Guilds Qualification in Plumbing or Similar
Full UK Driving Licence
