An opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Surveyor within my client, a progressive company supporting customers with a wide range of specialist services.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the FM services industry, including at least 3 years of mechanical experience as a mechanical project/contracts manager. The candidate must meet relevant technical and safety standards, codes of practice, and perform all necessary assessments on behalf of the company. Knowledge of regulations and paperwork related to accredited bodies is essential to ensure compliance and up-to-date records with audits.
Duties of the Mechanical Surveyor/Estimator:
- Assess work projects to determine labor and materials, and request the best value from suppliers for new and additional work requirements.
- Maintain well-organized records of business activities.
- Manage labor and subcontracted labor.
- Visit sites and liaise with clients to develop and build relationships.
- Prepare quotations, reports, and evaluate clients’ needs.
- Educate customers about available products/services and how to purchase them.
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of current safety regulations.
- Gas Safe Qualification required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, for interaction at all levels.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and report writing skills.
- Ability to take ownership of problems and analyze them to identify solutions.
- Commercial awareness to ensure maximum value for clients' businesses.
- High levels of responsibility, enthusiasm, and motivation.
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- Understanding and working knowledge of contractual documents.

Job Description
Sisko Group is currently looking to recruit qualified plumbers for domestic and commercial water meter installations across London following a large contract win offering a salary £41,600 - £50,000.
The Position
You will attend a 2-week induction & training period prior to working live on the contract
Once live you will be required to install a range of water meters (both internal and external) being allocated a minimum 8 appointments per day
You will be expected to carry out plumbing surveys alongside carrying out installations.

Working hours 8:00AM-5PM Monday to Friday
Must work every 3rd Saturday
